The Full Moon Wellness Experience Transforming a Brisbane Rooftop This Winter

Winter has a reputation for slowing things down. W Brisbane is leaning into that entirely — and doing it on a rooftop.

The WET Deck at W Brisbane has launched its Celestial Celebration series: three intimate full moon sound healing events running across June, July and August as part of the Marriott Winter After Dark programme. It is the kind of experience that feels more like a ceremony than a night out — and that is precisely the point.

Each session is led by Olga, founder of Light Castle Sound Healing, a Brisbane-based practitioner whose background in crystal bowl work and transformative sound baths has earned her a following that extends well beyond the city. The one-hour journey takes place indoors in a thoughtfully appointed space — luxury mats, blankets, pillows, hot water bottles — where guests are invited to fully let go. As the sound unfolds, AWAY Spa therapists move quietly through the room offering pressure point massage, adding a somatic layer to the meditative experience.

Only twenty guests per session. The intimacy is not incidental — it is the whole thing.

What follows is equally considered. The WET Deck’s Tarot-inspired adaptogen menu — built around lavender, sage, lemon myrtle, chamomile and other wellness botanicals — waits on the rooftop after the session. Primarily non-alcoholic, the list includes the hero pour Temperance alongside cocktails and optional LaGaia tinctures for those drawn deeper into the wellness intention of the evening.
